Expecting a Surprise

We know were getting old, but we just felt our family was missing something.

We decided to have another baby. I'm not sure if I'm as excited about this as Jace is, but a new baby can only be a blessing right?

The farm is doing well. We have been told we are only to grow and sell strawberries, which is fine. We have built a small greenhouse to keep crops in. We are thinking about asking for some fruit trees, theres an awful lot of empty space in the farm... although we could easily fill some of it wit a swimming pool and a nice deck!

The boys have grown up so fast. Paxton is going to take over the farm from Jace and I, he is so enthusiastic about growing strawberries, he's a good fisherman too. River is a little bit wild, but he's old enough to start making his own decisions. I think its time the boys started looking for girls to marry, especially Paxton, he cant take over the farm without a wife.

I wonder about this new baby, if it will be a boy or a girl, and what kind of life it will have. I hope it will be happy.

A New Begining?

I am finally a teenager.

I grew up well, despite my parents constant ignorance to my existance. They spent more time in their bedroom, or putting out the house everytime Father set it on fire, or playing with my brother, Paxton.

So this is a new begining. I can be what I want to be. I am not going to run the farm, I think my parents already decided Pax was best for that. So, when I am old enough, I'm going to move to my own piece of land and become party all night.

I cant wait.

I'm a Teen

Finally, I am a teenager.


Father wants me to work on the farm, which I enjoy. Mother wants me to marry a nice girl, which I'm working on. I've never even met another girl... Amberton is rather deserted. We own the only farm in town, and there aren't any other houses anywhere in sight.

Perhaps if I head down to the lake I'll meet some new people, I know its a very good fishing spot, and I like fishing.

I Hate Winter

I hate winter.

It's cold, everyone has had the flu at least three times already. I hate it. There are bugs all over the front porch, I think even they are trying to get away from the cold.
